The Last Stand
I love the contrast when the mist descends upon the last autumnal leaves of the year allowing creating these little bursts of yellow and orange. Following a few windy a stillness returned but as I walked into the woods the boughs and branches were practically bare, all but this majestic beech that seemed to be standing completely unscathed.
